About us

Liana Therapy Center (LTC) is an NGO and the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) wing of Mission Pediatrics, a specialist multidisciplinary Neurodevelopmental Children’s Practice dedicated to providing excellent child health and supporting child development in Ghana and Africa.
The Vision of LTC is to support the health, development and mental resilience of children and families in Ghana and Africa.
We hope to achieve our vision through advocacy, parent education, training, screening, early diagnosis, early intervention, therapy support, and rehabilitation.

This has been celebrated in December of every year since 2022. Families, many of whom have benefited from Mission Clinic or LTC's services and activities throughout the year, gather to have fun, play games and foster family bonding and support mental resilience and
health.

Go North Medical outreach

GO NORTH MEDICAL OUTREACH

The maiden outreach was in August 2023 in
Bolgatanga. Over 300 children and families were screened and educated on various neuro conditions. We hope to increase the number of outreach to twice a year and to establish a support and therapy center in Bolgatanga and all the five Northern regions of Ghana.

Parents Roundtable Discussion

Parents Roundtable Discussion

This is a recurring virtual program intended to educate parents, health professionals and educators about child health and child development. It also serves as a platform to advocate for children. It is currently in its fourth season.

Autism and Special Needs Conference, Ghana.

Autism and Special Needs Conference, Ghana.

Maiden conference took place in November 2023. Over 150 parents, school heads and therapists attended this conference over two days. A wide range of topics were discussed by Autism experts. Parents were given the platform to share their challenges and encourage each other. Health professionals and autism therapists were taught about standard care and practice in Autism treatments. Our hope is to make this an annual conference.

Mission Pediatrics Free Neuro Clinic

This was started in 2022 where children and families who cannot afford to access services are seen for free for diagnosis and follow up. Some families are also seen at a discount depending on need.
